I'm a Artist. I am constantly looking for things to draw in my art so I Google all day. A slow day it's about 40 plus searches! Many thanks Bright Side!
Years ago, I heard a song over the radio and I liked it so much. I wanted to download it but I remember just one line of that song.. not the singer or the album. Thanks to you now I find my song.
You guys have great videos! One suggestion tho why not try to keep the videos a bit shorter People are real impatient these days and short videos with catchy titles should attract more viewers (I personally don't like long videos)
OMG!.... Had no idea I was only a “¬Quote” away from finding that song I have Google searched on and off for years to find!!!!! Thank you! Thank You! Thank You!....by the way, it was “J Geils Band - Desire (Please Don't Turn Away)”....Still can't belive it....
Make a video about how to search better on RUclips. Sometimes we don't get the results that we are looking for, so it will be really helpful if we know how to do that.
Pretty good video. Some of the examples aren't very good, or were too rushed through but finally, thank god, I can use the minus sign and the word "crossword" to search for things without getting nothing but suggestions for answers to crossword puzzles. It doesn't happen often but I have had occasions when I'm searching for something that just happens to be a clue in a recent crossword puzzle and there aren't any other ways to reword what I'm looking for. When that happens I can't get anything except sites offering answers to puzzles.
Great content-thank you! I'm sure others may feel differently, but I personally found the background music to be too loud. By the end of the video, I had a headache.
I really like your Google search video and the part about spelling - you can "speak" a word and it will show the spelling and probably give the definition too.
"It will help you with that song you found on the radio." I wish. Every song I try to find, I never know enough of the lyrics, so Google just gives me grammar lesson instead
Great information - one suggestion I would make is to include all those different search options in a downloadable PDF so we can have something to refer to. Other than that I love you videos, I've learned a lot from them.
The etymology part of Number 4 was unclear. My only guess is that you mean you put the word after the colon, before the period. Using the example word you suggested, mortgage, it would look like this: etymology:mortgage. I tried that ... and it worked! But it also worked putting 'mortgage' after the period. And it worked just typing "etymology mortgage" -- no colon, no period. So what's the point of the colon and the period?
When it comes to the facts about subject thing, like always be adviced to scroll through the entire listing of options anyways, as we've seen google repeatedly prioritize angles of some subjects which they support, even if it is a subjective subject/interpretation. Just as a general reminder to always use healthy skepticism! ^_^
Never had an issue looking up lyrics without quotes, but i thought I'd give it a try... Tried im picking up good vibrations no quotations, first results show the song / music. Then, tries with quotations... first few results... something to do with android phones and Jeeps.... Maybe use a better example next time? I'll stick to non quotations, thanks.
